2004-08-16 - 3:27 p.m. things/people/stuff/whatever that sucks/rocks according to me vol.2 things that suck... bright yellow trucks, the way no doubt sounds now, the prices at fye(all the good cds are like $20), i didn't get the work study job i wanted, after wednesday i won't be a sign dancer anymore, alter bridge, showoff broke up, marilyn manson, grease 2(even worse than the first grease), chinese food, stubbing your toe, baggy shirts, when people yell stuff at me and i can't hear them, golf on tv, jennifer lopez, the brothers garcia, los lonely boys, when people can't hold a conversation on aim for more than 2 minutes, curfews, stepping in dog poo, caffeine withdrawl... things that rock... eric stefani, rachel acknowledged that her dad was in vol.1 in the guestbook, pringles, cheap thrills, the frighteners, the matches, weezer's album "pinkerton", synthesizers, polyester pants, fat wreck chords, jones soda, vh1(most of the time), anything that glows in the dark, upright basses, stars, foster's home for imaginary friends, agent m, wal-mart, conan o'brian, the assistant, mr. potato head... friday, at work i got to sign dance with someone in a big foam ceasar costume. good times. that night evan and i went to our grandmother's house. we somehow got talked into playing karaoke revolution with our cousin sarah. never again. i had to sing that song at the end of grease. not cool. saturday evan and i went to cheap thrills. i turned in some cds and bought a couple cds. i got "willis" by the pietasters and "a day late and a dollar short" by the queers. the queers are a good band, but it turns out the cd i got of them was a collection of their really early recordings and it sucks, so i was a little dissappointed on that one. that night we went to our other grandmother's house. she gave me an electric tie rack. it has a little light and it spins around. so cool. and she stuck up for me when mom started talking about the way i was dressed and that was awesome. sunday i hung out with dave and corey. we went to cheap thrills and i turned in that queers cd and another one and bought no doubt's first cd, which is really good i might add. then we went to the mall and found out there was a sale on all cds on epitaph records, but it turns out the sale had already ended. sucks. then i went to the church picnic. that was pretty cool. we got a pretty awesome game of ultimate frisbee going. kara nailed me in the lip with the frisbee. last night i saw this new show on cartoon network called foster's home for imaginary friends. as you can see it made the things that rock list. awesome stuff. thats pretty much my weekend in a nutshell. song of the day(1): no doubt - "trapped in a box" song of the day(2): the pietasters - "crazy monkey woman" song of the day(3): sum 41 - "my direction" song of the day(4): bad religion - "the defense" quote of the day: "clothes make the man. naked people have little or no influence on society." -mark twain the end. |
