2004-10-13 - 3:25 p.m. "it smells like cheese in here." "thank you." wow. its been a long time and i have a lot to say. let's start with a very valuable lesson that i learned last thursday night/friday morning. i went to a party thursday night and i may have had one too many cups of jungle juice(let's say 5). well, long story short, i officially threw up for the first time on alcohol, 5 times(and once the next day too). so a little advice kids from me to you, if you're an unexperienced drinker like myself, do not drink more than 3 cups of jungle juice. i took a 7 hour nap the next day. this past weekend brought another failed attempt at seeing blitzkid. sucks, but randy bought me a cd and aparently got them to sign the case (thanks randall). but i did see another great band this past weekend. enter the haggis. they played at the highlander festival(our homecoming) and they were awesome. the best way to describe them would be they're a celtic rock band with bagpipes, a fiddle, and the occasional tin whistle. very cool. i bought a couple of their cds. oh, and they play the highlander festival every year, so you guys back in bluefield can feel free to come visit me and see them next year. oh, and i danced with hippie girls. mid-terms this week. they suck. i just have one left tho, but its piano. that doesn't sound hard, but i suck at piano. i'm working on brianna's musical corruption vol.3. normally i get katie to make it, but once i get some cds and figure out how to use the burner on my new computer, i'm gonna make it myself. i'm officially going to horrorfest october 23rd(i think). i can't wait. i'm gonna meet the michael graves. i'm siked. i wasn't actually planning on going, but randy offered to pay for my expensive ticket even tho i insisted he not (thanks randall). no beth, randy and i are not dating. i'm gonna make an attempt to ask my mom if i can get my ears peirced for christmas. now, i'm 18, so i dont need her permission, but this way i won't have to pay for it and it'll give her a heads up on it so she knows its coming. i cant wait for christmas break. i heard today that streetlight manifesto's new cd is supposed to come out january 12th and get this, (all you old catch 22 fans will know what this means) the new cd will be called "keasby nights 2". so rad. i made sarah h. mad (something about a lesbian and a cross-dresser) so she's making me make it up to her by saying she's the coolest. so...she's the coolest...*thumbs up* on a somber note, superman died. yeah, christopher reeves died of heart failure or something like that. thats sad. on an even more somber note, i was told that at that blitzkid show, they played "dying day" as a tribute to their friend that died recently. well i just found out today who that was (through corey's diary) and i sorta knew the guy. he was a friend of anthony(a guy i worked with at little ceasars). he was also in a band with anthony and i went and saw them once at los 3 amigos. i also ran into him at walmart once. so i didn't know the guy real well, but still, it was a shock to me. jeremy a. smith, you will be missed. song of the day(1): jimmy eat world - "pain" song of the day(2): 30 foot fall - "half empty" song of the day(3): reel big fish - "good thing" in the spirit of halloween, my quote of the day is the lyrics to "vampires will never hurt you" by my chemical romance. "and if they get me and the sun goes down into the ground and if the sun comes up will it tear the skin right off our bones and if they get me and the sun goes down can you take this spike? and now the nightclub sets the stage for this they come in pairs she said can you take this spike? and as these days watch over time, and as these days watch over time i'll never let them, i'll never let them struck down, before our prime can you stake me before the sun goes down?" -my chemical romance - "vampires will never hurt you" goodnight sweet hubble. |
