bad in plaid

the fighting stack of pancakes

2004-11-22 - 11:52 p.m.

hey there.

well i'm here in bluefield. i havn't been online lately cause this computer is, well...it needs to be put out of its misery. i'm not sure if i'll even get through typing in this thing before the computer gives up and shuts down.

last tuesday i went to a jazz concert with chris. the radford jazz band, they were really good. i enjoyed it.

wednesday, katie and michael came and hung out for a little bit. we ate at joe's diner, i love that place. katie was disgusted by my bacon cheeseburger.

then they stayed for the concert band's concert. we did pretty well. we've played better, but it was good enough.

after the concert the three of us hung around in a parking lot. there was a lot of nudity and violence. it got an r rating.

chris and i wrote a pretty cool song called "black tears". i like it. it kinda reminds me of mad caddies for some reason. its even gonna have horns in the bridge.

friday, i came back to bluefield. read the last entry for more special commentary on that.

friday night, me, michael, sarah h. and katie went to the mall. not much going on there as usual. then we went to cheap thrills and katie bought me social distortion's "somewhere between heaven and hell" and i didn't ask her for once. she said buying the cd was my reward for not asking her to buy it for me. woot. michael kicked me in the balls, but i got him back later by punching him in the balls at food city. all is well now.

then we picked beth up. i atempted to climb a tree and scare/pounce on her(i hadn't decided which yet). well i got up the tree but the latter part was unsuccessful. sad face. then we went to walmart and i'm a little fuzzy on the details, but i believe katie and i were gonna get married and then aparently she thought i was gonna marry michael's dog so she called the wedding off.

saturday, i got up and katie picked me up to go to the football game. we were playing the keizer tornados. their mascot, a black and yellow tornado, looked like a stack of pancakes. i had a lot of fun with that. i also had a lot of fun screaming at sarah h. happy smiley face!

that night, my bro and i went to my dad's house. i hadn't seen my brother or my dad since like august. we ate pizza, we laughed, we watched 3 episodes of law and order. we had a grand ol time.

today was pretty cool. we had a surprise visit by none other than matt godwin. we went to the mall in his big redneck truck (seriously is has a piece of an old mailbox welded to it). we drove just fast enough to spew leaves from the back of the truck over everyone behind us. again, nothing happening at the mall, except we did run into jeff and ray. that was cool.

there's a really sweet mighty mighty bosstones patch at fye. i want it...really badly.

speaking of patches and such, out of pure bordom, i made wish lists on hot topic's website and cdnow.com. i'll post them on here later...ya know, just in case someone wants to get me something for chirstmas. nah seriously, no one has to get me anything because i'm dead broke so you probably wont get anything in return. its not because i'm heartless, its because my wallet is empty. i love you.

song of the day(1): the ataris - "the radio still sucks"
