2004-12-01 - 2:38 p.m. every song by streetlight manifesto is pure genius. here are the bands on my current playlist... flogging molly, strung out, streetlight manifesto, ima robot, less than jake, the fight, groovie ghoulies, cake, at the drive in, the postal service, the mooney suzuki, ten foot pole, afi, voodoo glow skulls, eisley, social distortion, atom and his package, bad religion, epoxies, the casualties, brand new, matt skiba, the dickies, avail, the distillers, the lawrence arms, dillinger four, alexisonfire, against me!, none more black, the explosion, blondie... monday night was interesting. a least 3 people set off 3 fire extinguishers here in the dorm at the same time causing the fire alarm to go off. so we all had to go outside at 10 at night in the cold. the cops came and everything. they told us it would just take 20 minutes and we could go back inside, well we didn't get back inside til almost 2 in the morning. during the waiting time, sara, mikey, john and i decided to go to the dining hall cause it would be warm in there. they sold sara a huge pizza for $5. so we sat in there for a while until they turned all the lights out on us, which was their way of saying, "we're kicking you out." so then we went to some other dorm(i think it was floyd) and just hung out until they told us we could get back in. mikey searched on ares for "john's mom" and some porn came up. john said he was gonna have a long talk with his mom. well it looks like katie and i are riding the fan bus up to wheeling. sounds like its gonna be a long ride. i just burnt a cookie in the microwave. oops. now it smells like smores in here. i still don't quite have the hang of using a microwave with a dial. song of the day(1): the dickies - "killer klowns from outer space" song of the day(2): blondie - "heart of glass" song of the day(3): streetlight manifesto - "a moment of silence" song of the day(4): the postal service - "such great heights" quote of the day: "the last two soldiers on the battlefield, survivors of the war. they aim at one another while their mothers beg the lord, "if you're listening, i'm missing him so somehow bring him home. how did it come to this?" so the soldiers lift their rifles. they're aiming at the head. they think of their first love before they take their final breaths and somewhere in the distance they hear something someone said: "how did it come to this?" and as you close your eyes for the big sleep i hope you think of me." -streetlight manifesto - "the big sleep" thats a great song. man i need that cd. outie. |
