i had an entry typed up a couple days ago, but then diaryland's server crashed so i lost that one. make sure you go back and read the last one, you might have missed it since the site has been down for a couple days.

i was really worried about my topics in arts class cause its a project class and we work on it all semester. i went into dr. dabbney's office, sat down in the seat next to her desk, looked her square in the eye and said, "i have no idea what i'm doing." so she asked me questions about what i'm interested in and stuff like that and she suggested my project be record a short demo and play shows with my band. so now i'm gonna get a grade for something i was planning on doing anyway. how cool is that?

this is part of an e-mail i got from student accounts...

"A review of your account shows that you have received an excess of aid in the amount of $475.00. A refund has been processed for you for Spring, 2005, and a check will be mailed to you at the above address approximately two weeks."

...holy crap.

i planned on coming home this weekend to surprise sarah(i'm so sneaky), but, unfortunately, my plan failed. its ok tho. it could be worse. hopefully i'm coming in next weekend(fingers crossed) and i'm bringing chris with me so the bobble heads can practice.

i've been listening to a lot of ska for like 3 days now. it really puts me in a good mood.

here are the bands on my playlist right now...

billy talent, fall out boy, operation ivy, common rider, danny elfman(nightmare before christmas, woo!), frankie yankovic, joey cape, atom and his package, strung out, sum 41, nofx, pat benetar, dillinger four, 1208, against all authority, osker, pulley, spitvalves, the ataris, the queers, the weakerthans, lagwagon, randy, the briefs, billy joel, sifl and olly, mad caddies, mu330, mustard plug, the planet smashers, bad astronaut, thought riot...

i'm not in the brass ensemble anymore. they decided to drop the only song i play on. i kinda have mixed feelings aboot it. yeah, it took up my monday and wednesday nights and i just sat there most of the time, but at the same time, i enjoyed the song i actually played on. oh well.

hey remember that music survey i made up a couple entries ago? somebody actually took it. kudos to ethan.

Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin
Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin: a wild ride through
the back alleys of toontown! The only ride
with a PG sense of humour in the G rated world
of Disneyland, you are zany, wild, and a little
bit of a loose screw. Energetic and colorful,
you go at full speed, even though your taxi-car
vehicles actually have four flat tires!
Despite your older humor, you are a kid at
heart and kids most relate to your cartoony
world and like you the best. You've been know
to make the adults a little queasy and a litte
bit dizzy. You leave your visitors dazed, a
little confused, but more often, extremely
amused. You take us to the places we'd never
see in a ride featuring the straight-laced
Mickey, but somehow you're still all Disney.

What Disneyland attraction are you?

now i really wanna watch who framed roger rabbit?, that movie rocks.

i wanna get a bunch of people together and go to ska weekend in knoxville, tn on april 30th. almost 30 bands including, voodoo glow skulls, mustard plug, the planet smashers, the know how, suburban legends, i voted for kodos and (west virginia's own) 69 fingers. its only $5 and 5 cans of food to get in(at least thats what i read on the site's forum). i really want to go.

link of the day: http://www.stopashlee.com/

song of the day(1): mu330 - "fat and married"

song of the day(2): the planet smashers - "surfing in tofino"

song of the day(3): mustard plug - "brain on ska"

quote of the day(its kind of a long one, but its funny): "so i told my brother, hoss, that the living end were coming to town. in fact, they were playing three shows within driving distance. this is a big deal, cuz normally they skip the midwest (bastard aussies). and hoss said, "huzzah!" that's pirate talk for "hooray!" then I threw in the kicker, they were just opening for good charlotte. "DAMN YOU ALL!!!" said hoss. that's pirate talk for "DAMN YOU ALL!!!" we ended up not going to any of the shows. we did ponder though why good bands open for bad bands. like hoss is a major less than jake fan. he's got tons of that collector nerd stuff that they always make. when they opened for good charlotte and new found glory, he locked himself in his room and cried for seven days straight. that's right folks, he turned emo. luckily, hoss is now back to being a pirate. unlucky for small coastal villages and ports and schooners everywhere. then i thought about all the kids going to the good charlotte show and how much they won't appreciate seeing such a fine act as the living end. this made me mad. but then i realized that i'm lazy. and i'm more lazy than mad. then i took a nap. man was i refreshed after that. i don't really know where i'm going with this, so maybe i should stop. or maybe i should tell you about the time i wrestled a rabid wolverine. it was at this bar... and it was cheez whiz wrestling night... and i had been drinking... alot... since two a.m. the previous morning... i won't bore you with the details, because really, what more can i say? it was embarrassing for both me and the wolverine. what a wild and crazy night. man, i don't like good charlotte fans." -21deadmonkeys

the end.
