the weekend was pretty interesting...

i went home this weekend and chris came with me. sarah was at a church retreat(holy camp) so i didn't get to see her, which really made me sad, but i did manage to have some fun.

friday was the one nation underground show. bands that played: neverlight, outshined, blitzkid, better off dreaming, and darkness remains. it was awesome. better off dreaming was shooting their dvd so a bunch of us just went crazy. and neverlight and blitzkid were awesome as usual. some guy got thrown through a table. neverlight sold a bunch of shirts. some 13 year old asked randy to make out with her.

saturday, the bobble heads practiced(our last practice as the bobble heads, more on that later). actually, it was just me, michael, and chris cause we couldn't find dave(he was at rachel's house, duh) and our drummer wont be joining us for a few weeks. we got some stuff done. we plugged in a second guitar part to the only song anybody's heard from us, "dork like me" and some other random stuff.

later that night, free show(and free toothpicks) at los 3 amigos. bands that played: neverlight and theory x. goolsby went up and sang "nosferatu" with neverlight. that was sweet. theory x was also really good. then we had ourselves a bit of a riot on our hands. corey explained it better than i could in his livejournal . hint hint, click on the link. let's just say, we probably wont have shows at los 3 amigos anymore.

oh, also at the show, the bobble heads changed our name. it kinda started as a joke. michael was talking about performing in just his boxers. which lead to someone saying, "scantily clad michael.", which lead to "scantily plaid michael.", followed by a cheesy laugh, and then "hey, scantily plaid would be a cool band name." end of story.

today sucked majorly. my mom woke me up and i thought she told me that she was going to sunday school and coming back for me and chris to take us to church and that there was a mixture of snow and rain coming at noon, but she really said she was leaving for sunday school and coming back to take us back to radford because there was a mixture of snow and rain coming at noon. aw cwap. so my plans for going to see sarah when she got back from the retreat crumbled. *sigh*
