2005-04-27 - 10:25 p.m.

except for scantily plaid, this month has been hell. bruises were made, conflicts took place, hearts were broken, fire fell from the sky...well maybe not that last part, but you get my point. love is in the air, ha! i'm the loneliest i've ever been. damn spring...

hmm, maybe i said too much. moving on...

ok, so chris and i went to the field of blue this past weekend. we stayed at dave's house, which was very interesting. dave has 5 dogs. imagine the chaos. i enjoyed it.

saturday was the day of the scantily plaid show. around noon, the 5 of us and shelly went to the mall. i think the original plan was to pass out flyers, but that didn't happen. we did run into carlos tho which is always fun. he gave us all hugs and tried to lift dave's kilt. yes, dave was wearing a kilt.

so then came a little practicing, not much tho. then little ceasars and walmart somewhere in there, and then we went to los 3 amigos for the show. fire boss(randy and another guy) opened up for us. they were pretty good for only being together a week and a half. they need a singer tho(let them know if you are interested). then we played, and it wasn't perfect, but it didn't matter really. we just went up there and had fun and people seemed to enjoy us. a couple people said i was fun to watch so now i wanna see the video that randy's mom made so i can see what it is that i was doing. the only thing that i was mad about was randy's pa cut out on all the loud parts of our cover of "armagedden", but thats ok. travis, one of the owners of crypt of blood records, said we sounded great and he might sign us, which is really weird cause they're a horror rock label and we're not horror rock, but cool none the less. i doubt it will happen, but its still a nice thought. there were a few people that didn't show that i would have liked to have seen there, but all in all i'd say we had a pretty good first show.

i can't wait for summer.

i have a slight predicament. the concert band(which i am in) has to play at graduation which is on may 7th. the dorms close the night of the 6th. where exactly am i supposed to stay that night?

ugh.

i havn't slept much lately. havn't been able to.

hmm, brian wrote scantily plaid into his movie script. it a pretty cool scene and i have a lot more lines now. i've been promoted from "horror punk" to playing the role of myself. my favorite line that i have is, "should i dye my hair? i'm getting tired of this red rooster look."

did i mention i can't wait for summer?
